Pizza, Chicken Fingers, the Healthy Alternative?

HANS KAI has a focus on healthy eating. After all, healthy eating is a cornerstone of HANS KAI and participants enjoy healthy food together. But that doesn’t translate to kale smoothies and steamed vegetables for every meal. Healthy eating actually includes lots of our favourites, but healthier versions. Perennial favourites like pizza and burgers get a makeover to make them healthier but still delicious. Making recipes healthier can include controlling your portion size, what cooking method you choose, using real food in your ingredients and more. For instance making the pizza crust from scratch and using canned tomatoes as a sauce not only ups the veggie content but it cuts down on salt and fat. Likewise baking chicken fingers and fries cuts fat. We have included 2 recipe videos that are definite favourites of HANS KAI participants.
